Five
Minutes to Eternal Life

You may be just five
minutes away from eternal life. That’s the time it will take you to read
this life changing presentation of the timeless truths of the Holy Bible and
act on what you read…..
There is a personal, living God. He
created everything out of nothing, including you and me, and He continues to
sustain and care for us and His creation. God reveals Himself to our generation
through the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible is the source of the timeless truths set
forth here.
All of us are sinners by nature and by
deed. Our sin causes a broken relationship between us and our Creator, because
God is good and just and cannot overlook sin. On the other hand, God is also
loving and merciful. So much so, that the eternal Son of God came down from His
high place in Heaven, became flesh, entered history as the man named Jesus of
Nazareth, and paid with His own life the penalty of our sin.
Jesus of Nazareth was born of a virgin in
Bethlehem about 2000 years ago. His mother and stepfather were descended from
King David, a famous king of ancient Israel. Jesus lived a sinless life and
offered Himself up as a sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. He was
crucified on a Roman cross. After He died, He was placed in a tomb guarded by
soldiers. After three days, Jesus was raised from the dead, and appeared bodily
to His mother, an unbelieving half-brother, the Apostles, and some 500 others.
All of these witnesses testified to this reality. After forty days, Jesus
ascended back to His high place of honor in Heaven. Someday, Jesus will
physically return to visit wrath on unbelievers and restore His creation.
Those who repent and exercise faith
alone in Jesus alone will be with Him forever in a glorious celestial place
called Heaven. But, those who do not repent and place their faith alone in
Jesus alone will be condemned to a place of eternal punishment called Hell, and
be eternally separated from their Creator.
All of us are sinners. We all deserve
eternal punishment and separation from God. But, God loves us so much that He
took that punishment on Himself in Jesus. Please…I beg of you, right now,
wherever you are in the world at this very moment, sincerely -- (1) ask God to
forgive your sins, (2) express a willingness in attitude and deed to turn away
from your sins, (3) believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died for your
sins, was raised from the dead, and is coming back, and (4) commit to His
authority in your life through obedience--then you may know that you have
eternal life with Him forever. Please believe these timeless truths and act on
them to take your first steps toward eternal life with God.
